Nice to see you back in action Egbert and your sculpting skills are as proficient as your conversion ones.

Very nice indeed.

Best wishes,

Chris

Hey Mabo,
it's nice ti read that you miss my news… :-D
... but here they come …

... it continues with the painting of the natural stone masonry and the base.
For this I also used tinting paints from the hardware store.
- primer in the color cigar brown,
- then everything was processed again with a washing mixture of black and ocher,
- Lightening with ocher, white and terra, in several steps

That's a real nice painted church!

What is it that I see in the tower window? Something unpainted. :eh:

This church is not in the best condition.
Fire the priest who is responsible for it.
A new white painting will be not a waste to look more fresh.
A mexican can do.
And let them pay for it. :eh:
:xd:

Thank you guys for your nice comments... :-D

Next, I looked at the entrance portal.

The parts were made from 0.8mm thick veneer.

Then I painted the whole thing as follows:
- Primer from a mixture 2/3 black - 1/3 white,
- 2nd coats in the color cigar brown,
- washing from a mixture of black and terra,
- lightening with ocher, white and terra, in several work steps,

The fittings I formed from thin wire.
The 80 metal bolts were cut from plastic waste and glued on with white glue.

Hi dykio,
For cutting I use a scalpel and a steel ruler. :-D
