Part of the foreign garrison defending the Peking Legation Quarter. 25mm Figures by Old Glory

Some more pictures of the same three figures Link

I am struggling a bit with these guys, and their pals (there are 19 of them). Their multiple layers of equipment straps (tan leather satchel and canteen over black webbing) are pretty fiddly, and their gear/uniform layout doesn't exactly match my references. Finally, the way I painted my last set of individual figures ( link ) hasn't scaled well to a large group. Paint and learn, I guess.

As i started to write this...
20mm = 1/76 scale which worked out fine for my HO OO Railway, as 1/72 scale was way to large i found out at great cost i might add. A point well worth mentioning i think ?

Old Glory figures were supposed to be in (true 25mm scale) Supposed because i have none so i cannot check that out.

In the Scale creep of the recent 10 years 25mm = 1/72 scale.

However the foot to eye rule somebody dreamt up for their production line meant that it went way over scale to 28mm.

So that new 28mm Scale was produced, which i might add here is slowly creeping up again to whatever these schemers dream up next. My blunt opinion of course.

:coffee: So Michael ,these well painted figures stay here i guess? BB

Thanks! Yeah scale creep for 25s was already a major issue way back in in the 90s. I had kept enough of an eye on the industry to know about "28mm", but only heard about "18mm" oversized 15s a few months ago.
