Work in Progress

Medieval scene 1/72.

Posted by santifernandez on 27 Sep 2020, 11:57

I start with the figures, cleaning burrs and making modifications.
There is italeri, zveda, valdemar, caesar, orion ... as for the question of historical reality, it is not 100% limited, it is something generic.
Some purists may not like it, but I can't spend a lot of money on new figures.

I hate it when you mix the grey, the yellow, pink, brown, orange and metal figures! That is historical not correct! :winky: :joker:

Go on Santi, I like it! ;-)

Maybe Santi will close the gate? Or put a dragon there? Good question! Very nice work, Santi! Go on!

Action! Action! Action! I know it's more work, but it will make the dio a fantastic one. I can offer to paint some figures if you like, as I really like what you are doing here.

Those castle walls are so realistic, top quality painting. I like the ivy climbing up the wall.

Looking forward to the figures.

Hello Santi,
the quality of your work is on a very high level
and the presentation testifies to absolute perfectionism.
You can hardly offer more on this scale.
The whole scene seems very lively and natural to me.
Once again an eycatcher from your hands!

In my bad english I can't find the words.
How would you say "Te pasas Santi!" in english?. You pass Santi !!. "Are you above the level!!" ?.
This construction is super realistic and also beautiful to the eyes.
I think whatever you put on the portal will look good, even a barricade with an overturned cart
I am not an expert on the Middle Ages, but I remember stories of entire castles defended by less than 20 defenders and assaults also with very few people. So for a wall fraction you may not have to spend so much on figures, and with your figure work techniques, even the "purists" will applaud.
