Highlanders Warriors.

Posted by Jaques on 06 Jul 2020, 20:12

Hi , friends.

Incredible and wonderful all the information and knowledge. Many thanks.
With proper historical license, the highlander figures will be much closer to the film than reality.
I started reducing the size of the swords. They'll be more of the generic kind of bastard swords, but I'm trying to build another figure to stay with claymore.

To friends in Scotland, I also present information that I find interesting.
I am from the Northeast region of Brazil.
In this part of the country, one of the main traditional foods, much appreciated, is “Buchada de Bode”, made with the goat's entrails washed, boiled, cut, seasoned and cooked in bags , made with the animal's own stomach. Served with our national distillate, cachaça.
I think it has a lot in common with your traditional food too. ;-)

Hagis??

It does NOT look delicious to me, but I would try it if I were visiting Jaques.

Hi.
Haggis from Brazil, made with goat.
Delicious!

Blufachion. It will be a pleasure to serve you here. However, I think you will want to try a partial version for tourists. A complete version that I and the other Northeasterners like more, comes with a head and paw accompanying.

Hi , friends.

Returning to the figures.

Swords have been reduced to a generic model.

As for the use of Claymore, one solution was to make a warrior with compatible size, strength and musculature.

Hi , friends.

Thanks for the comments.
The clan is almost finished, with just a few adjustments and fills to get in line for the painting. But I will only paint after Peter reveals the secret of Tartan paint and where I can buy it.

Those are some great sculpts, very characterful. There's just something really charming about the Scots.
