British Firing Lines - AWI - more than 200!!!!

Posted by Photoro Man on 05 Jun 2020, 17:25

Converted my some British Infantry into Firing Lines using whatever Napoleonics and AWI Figures I could find.
Haversack and Cartridge box added by ´excess´plastic from the sprues melted into the appropriate shape. No glue needed :-).
Bayonets, if there were none, I used hot wire and drew it into the muzzle. Then flattened it with pliers.

Figures are separated into tricorne Brits ´early war´and Hut-wearing British serving in hotter weather .

Huts made from either paper with glue or chopped off originals from (now suffering) other figures.

Lots of ideas here.

Nice conversions and melting plastic too.

I use a soldering iron with a fine point, bit watch your fingers!

Best wishes,

Chris

Hi, yep, so do I! Pretty cool way to use excess plastic insteadof throwing away :-)

A real catalogue of new poses¡ Very creative many of them.Lots of ideas…and work.
Perhaps try to improve the way you apply the wash to the figures; I think a little stronger would be more eye catching.
Antonio.
