Some early photos of my recent medieval project about the crusades.
I've completed a wagon with the cross in metal, not sure who sculpted it, and the Italeri Temple knights set. This set has as everyone knows the early kite shaped shield, suitable for early crusades, but I want the heater shields. No solution in sight I thought. But then I remembered a pack of old heater shields I bought from a company called Tumbling dice last year or so, I simply cut off the accursed kite shields and glued on the metal shields. Much better!

I also have the Miniart castle, and Imex castles which are much better, so maybe a siege might be a good idea. But here are my humble beginnings, nevermind the Civil War battle going on in the background:

I love the look of your ox drawn wagon! And the knights are fantastic - hadn't noticed the civil war battle but see the stars and stripes banner now.
Medievals fascinate me - an early passion and one I want to return to sometime so these are an inspiration.

Would have sworn that it was by Massimo Costa, it's a good set.

Looks great! Reminds me of an old thingy I made where a medieval knight attacs some WW2 Airfix Germans. :-D
