That is what I can present after nearly 2 years of work:

Not that much but...
Stay tuned and continue to follow the progress at irregular intervals. It will continue in any case! ;-)

Hi Jan,
great looking Prussians. All those familiar names...
For the Prussian officer grabbing downwards you could also have positioned someone with a bottle. When I have a spare trumpeter I usually convert the guy into an alcoholic.
Your command stands are lovely
When will you have a test game?

Greetings from deep cheesy Normandy,
Michael

Before we can make a testgame, Mr.Andrea has to teach me the rules. I have the book, but it is in English... :read: :eh:

I will. Posts from this topic are always good.

The uhlans look great, those new Strelets figures seem to be very nice.

And your command stands are terrific; the mix of extra figures makes them really interesting. :yeah:

Very cool figures and you have made a nice start with them. For some odd reason, the Prussian Landwehr regiments from 1815 have always struck me as much more modern than the soldiers of their opponents and other allies from the same year.

Very nice indeed.

The Prussians seem to have got a bad press regarding somber uniforms but I think they look good especially en masse.

Best wishes,

Chris

I agree, simplicity worked in the case of the 1813-15 Landwehr uniform. Made of materials which were often of a poor quality, but a uniform nonetheless and very functional. And yes, definitely more 'modern' in appearance than a good many Napoleonic uniforms.

That's a great bunch of Landwehr, looks very nice. I always hesitated to paint up Westphalians because they would be very late-war but on the other hand - who really cares about such things on the playing table?

Thank you all for your nice posts. I have made some small progress, so I will post a new picture soon I hope. 32 figures are a huge number to paint for me.

I know what you mean, but for the 1.Corps in 1815 they are mandatory. ;-)

Looking good so far Jan!
