Here is the next painted unit. But this is an exception, because it was not part of the 1st Corps. It was not even present at Waterloo. But I have it and it was one of my early works, so I like to base it finally to present it here.
It is not a very good paintjob, But I did not want to repaint it, but leave it as it was. Have a look at the
Ostpreußisches National-Kavallerie-Regiment / East Prussian National Cavalry Regiment
On Ludwig Yorck von Wartenburg's orders, Count Lehndorff-Steinort began setting up the regiment in February 1813. 38 recruits were assigned to him; all others he had to recruit from the ranks of the non-defense. The volunteers had to bring their horses and equipment. All 833 riders came from East and West Prussia. The regiment was assigned to the Silesian Army of Blücher and fought gloriously in the Battle of Katzbach and in the Battle of Leipzig. Until the capture of Paris on 30 March 1814, it belonged to the cavalry vanguard of the Blücher army under Major General von Katzler (see Generalszug). Three squadrons of the regiment were used in 1815 to set up the Guard Hussar regiment.
The next unit for the project "1st Corps" will be the Landwehr and the artillery.
