Greek Cadets Crete 1941.

Posted by Jaques on 28 Nov 2018, 14:08

Hi , friends.

Continuing to build my Greek troops, I am adding some cadets from the 8th Regiment who fought in the Battle of Crete.
I found little information about them and a monument in honor but in the English language.
Kostis, my friend, perhaps you have more details and information written in the Greek language, which can translate for us and add more on the cadets in battle.
Thank you.

Great conversions, Jaques. Maybe the legs come from BUM Spanish Legion figures? And perhaps some of the bodies from Pegasus WWI French Infantry? It's difficult to identify them, you have made an amazing work.

I will follow their evolution with interest. Regards. :-)

Yes !
The legs are of BUM figures, with their boots made of dough.
Upper body are Waterloo Anglo-Egyptian Army figures, modified.
Some arms in white metal and the machine gun of the Blue Army of Strelets.

I really like the subject you choose. :yeah: :-D
The guy on the left (in your 4th photo ) is a citizen. Many citizens took part in the battle.
