During drying the kit I will tell you a short story with my childhood friend and me.
Involved is an Airfix Westland Scout.

Two time the instruction for the same kit.
The big one is the actual one. The small one is of the early 80`s. I bought these kit as a young teenager in green plastic. I think it was in a clear blister box. For camouflage only a brown paint was used. That`s it. How less you need to be happy with your build.

My friends neighbor house was in the build up process. On Saturday at noon there are a lot of options to play.
The mountains (the dug-out-material and the sand for the cement) and the plain where my friends and my outpost was stationed (where the garden is planned).

A scout mission to the mountains was called. We do (of course an emergency start) our "duty".
My friend choose my Westland Scout helicopter and I a biplane ! We take the vehicle with the thumb and the show finger at the fuselage.
We are close to the mountains then my mate "radio" that he receive bullets from the bad bad enemy.
Then the drama start to rise. I told to my friend that I will take a stone. Throw it to his direction to undeline that he get "under fire". I take the closest handy stone. Smash it without great targeting. Barely In the direction of my mate.
I thought.

A hit !

 ,
calm.
Two teenager laugh.
His thumb and his show finger are still untouched in the "hold position".
But between there was nothing anymore.
The debris, the few we can collect afterward, was not so far away. And debris mean lot of small parts. I destroyed (my mate !) it complete !

Since this time I change my mind and stop firing at my helicopters.

A short story who came up form time to time if we met us nowadays.

@Kekso
Yes resin. In my first Dio I thought only one time. Then I do my next and my third.
I really never expect that so much Dio with water will be done.
This time I use a resin not from a known brand. Not cheaper but much more quantity.

The bubbles are not planned. And in the beginning of filling there are no bubbles.
I remove the lacquer of the base. So the earth mixture will stick.
With the airbrush was the base color done this time. Not as usual with a brush.
The next step was to use a wash.
Finally for the next time I should lacquer it again.
Because during drying the temperature let the wooden base bent !
So the air inside went easy upward. I think the thin airbrush layer is not enough.
But ok. It happen now. It look like as just landed. Smoke from the exhausts will support this.
Only the hole in the middle (I fill it right now) why does this happen is a mystery to me.

What should be the name of the Dio?
Any suggestions?
