The pic explain the most, if not all.
The head,headgear is a sure plus of FTF hard plastic. And the helmet is sanded (very first pic) to get close to the shape of a British helmet.
This sounds a bit crazy because there is now a cammo on top and no more shape is visible.
But the helmet is a bit higher as needed. And get a front ... something, how to say, roof gutter.

Since their bodies look quite transparent I don't think they need more camo than that. As usual very interesting to see! Go on!

Water drop above the brown wash. Mix it.
After the wash of the complete figure.
Dry brushing. Light green I choose this time. Sometimes the whole figure in the next dry brushing color.
Face and hands.
The lips. Ok this time more a joke because the position in the next pic is ...
