I could use some of those hielan coos for my Covenanter project.

a wonderfully modelled and beautifully painted Scots castle.
I haven't seen much of the TV show but I do recall seeing a group of mounted characters who looked EXACTLY like Massimo's figures.
Great work on a very good looking project, I look forward to seeing more.

The shaggy coos are from Stenfalk and they are excellent little models.

It goes on. The courtyard of the castle is primed and colored with dark earth color.
With the airbrush a gray finish is sprayed on.
After the following "aging" the castle is finished.

Absolutely wonderful work.

Once again the modelling bar has been raised.

Inspirational stuff which I look forward to seeing at the Dioramica.

Best wishes,

Chris

Although anything I turn out won't be as wonderful as the above, I'm thinking about "scratching", some traditional Highland houses (crofter houses, or "black" houses).

I looked for some commercial ones but, as usual, nothing in 1/72 scale.
I've been thinking of making the stone walls literally out of small pebbles.

Those windows in the south curtain wall say there should be buildings against that wall. Well yes there should have been but apparently they were never constructed. It's not that they weren't reconstructed when the rest of the castle was restored, they never existed.

Great modelling.
