Long time project-Seven year war

Posted by rayloryan on 06 Aug 2018, 17:20

I have planned this long time ago but so far i spare my time to make a first prototype. I do love the uniforms and the manhood in this historical period.
I took a lot of reference from internet. I hope in this forum who are making SYW can help me for the accuracy. Hope to see you guys' project.

Unfortunately, I can't help you with uniform accuracy. But figures look great. Do you plan to 3d print masters? Weill there be any serial production or this is just for private collection?

I support Kekso, his questions are also mine. And yes the figure looks great.

I'm with Dali and Jan here. I remember that Benno was interested in this war a long time ago.

Hello!

Great job, but accuracy indeed has to be improved.

For example:
The cartridge pouch is not attached on the crossbelt
The second crossbelt supports nothing - therefore useless
Bajonett scabbard is missing
Canteen has no supporting strap
Gaiters should go deeper and normaly are fixed with a strap down the foot
The tricorn peak should be over the left eye, not centered
The butt of the musket looks very strange
Colour bearers don't carry a crossbelt with a cartridge pouch (as he has no musket)

For more Information try the books by Osprey Publishing or something similar.

Regards
Thomas
