Little Luchs in Russia

Posted by Quepwik on 27 Jun 2018, 07:45

The diorama for the VK.45.02 (P) H being in progress ( http://bennosfiguresforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=21718 ), but I started the Luchs Flyhawk model.

Everything is beautiful and assembles perfectly. Pure relaxation.

I just added a turned metal barrel and a pincer, I lost the one of the kit.

The tracks, rollers and sprockets are glued together to form a block but they are not glued to the Luchs to facilitate the painting. That's why they may seem a little removed from it.

I have the idea to make a small base in Russia, the melting snow or my Luchs will have a white camouflage very worn, probably using the washable white paint from Ammo Mig.

Looking good. Very detailed for its scale.

First try for the white camo.
Pretty easy to do in fact, using an AMMO MIG référence. The only thing is master to get a camouflage more or less faded.
I wanted it very worn, at the end of winter. I hope I have succeeded !

Some little points to add white here and there and I will put filter to highlight the hollows.

Nicely done. Only the whitewash is now so much worn that I did not recognize it as a whitewash anymore. It looks more like dust now. But of coure this can be realistic after long and heavy rain, or after an halfharted attempt of the crew to clean the vehicle.

The mini diorama is started.
Still a few things to improve and the integration of the figure to do.
