Ashigarus at the break

Posted by Konrad on 20 May 2018, 16:07

After all the big work with a lot of Romans and Swiss a little scene
with my favorite topic - Japan and the Samurais
Our friend Massimo made this nice figs for HAGEN MINIATURES.
" Ashigarus at the break ".

Ashigaru (足軽 "light [of] foot") were foot-soldiers employed by the samurai class of feudal Japan. The first known reference to ashigaru was in the 14th century,[1] but it was during the Ashikaga shogunate–Muromachi period that the use of ashigaru became prevalent by various warring factions.[2]

That's a really nice idea for a scene.

The first figure looks great and the natural wood is very good.
