Like it a lot! That pipesmoker is one of my favourite poses, but maybe, sitting as he does, he could sit on a fence or a barrell or something? Agree with Donald, it is VERY inspiring!

thank you ochoin and susofrick, yes I think he is better for other position than on a rolling vehicle in the midst of a battle! Otherwise the set is really great, a full 6 horse team but it was very fiddly to put together, had to resort to using a glue gun with mixed results. Next time I will do better but this set is becoming scarce and a bit more expensive, hoping for a reissue.

I'm assuming you chaps don't many pipe smokers. My dad was once enticed onto a roller coaster & had his pipe clenched between his teeth the whole time, including upside down.

Well, I was thinking of the driver getting the smoke in his eyes. Seen some smokepipers and they don't let go! :-D Dad (once a pipesmoker) used to call it his comforter).

Come September, my pals & I should have our first ACW wargame.
It's been a long time coming & I've sent them links to Traveller's posts as an incentive.

Sadly, none of us smoke pipes (though one does smoke hams).
