They are an Impressive sight.

What do You suppose would happen if they found out there's a shoe factory just down the road apiece?

Well if the factory is owned by Nike I think it would be the beginning of a great sponsor cooperation with the CSA since the Southerners will be doing lots of running the coming years.

Hello Mr T.

Very nice indeed.

You have got the hang of this background business.

The view to infinity really sets your scenes off to perfection.

Best wishes,

Chris

Are the 'eyes' on the 13"mortar platform part of the system of training the mortar left to right? I don't think I've ever noticed them in any photos of the actual piece. Very nice work, by the way.

Thank you, I don't really know about the eyes but it does makes sense.

Still lots to work on and more figures to add, but the battlefield looks like this now:

The parrott rifle is really detailed, I recommend it.

I have just received my first delivery of Speira models and I must say that they are lovely.

The Parrott is fantastic and the guns represent excellent value.

The troops are also brilliant but unfortunately compared to metals are not cheap.

However, the superb poses compensate for this in part.

Lots to do.

Best wishes,

Chris

Glad you like them Chris, hopefully in the future we will have better machines producing them at a cheaper cost.

I like this scene too, figures and grass both...Little detail, they say that after fifth cannon shot on battlefield people get custom on it...Also in those days everything on battlefield smelled on gunpowder and blood...

Lee's favorite, the 12 pounder isn't too bad either, together with open limber

And our version of the 30 pounder parrott rifle.
