Hi,

Those printed figures are fantastic.

Are they commercially available?

I have a hankering to read fight Antietam and they are just what I would need !

Best wishes,

Chris

The 3D drawings are promising.
Go on.

Brilliant! Is that casualty figure wearing overalls?

No, I didn't spot that, it's a sling, probably to the canteen, that needs to be moved.

Well here is a corrected version, a backpack has been added.

Daikagans figures are also good, have them and will paint them up soon.

Looking very much forward to see these painted! Massimo's figures are great and these 3D-printed looks very good too!

I have pointed this problem out before.
They seem to be left handed muskets.
Or am I wrong?
3D Printers do produce mirror images on certain parts.
This can be very costly if put into production.
This is meant to be helpful not caustic. OK? BB

You're quite right Beano, I also suspected this but didn't quite catch it for some reason. Gotta change of course even if it's almost not noticeable in this scale.

It was mirror imaging that put me off buying a 3D Printer.
I am sure you will feel good after solving this little problem Amos.
Sharing how you rectify it would be of great interest to myself,
and I guess lots of others too. Have fun BB

Yes you are right, Paul. I did not see this detail, because generally speaking the 3D designs looks very good to me. But maybe the musket should be correctable.

Well it has been corrected on the recent model and future ones, but to be honest this isn't noticeable on the 3D prints, 1/72 is too small.

But here's the latest pose with correct rifle:

Good for you Amos, a job well done is something to take a pride in.
When these are painted up you will be confidant in showing close ups with the camera.
The cameras eye is very good to show up mistakes on a large screen, it is a tool i myself often use when painting small scale stuff. Be of good cheer, you are doing well presenting your hobby style work here. Bravo! :-D BB

I would not say so. If the sculp is precise enough, one can see without problems.

Yet another pose which I have wanted for a long time, a surrender pose! This has never been done in ACW 1/72, there are surrender poses in WWII sets but now finally for the Civil War.

Based on the drawing by Waud of the Sailor's Creek surrender scene.

You're right, I've only seen them in resin and some other cheap material, so small you can't see but printed in better material it might be obvious.
