Wow, Egbert. After some days without entering the forum, I have just discovered now the painted figures, soldiers, scouts and horses...and amazing they are, as we can always expect from you. ;-)

My very very best congratulations.

Santi.

Okay! This is is marvelous! I've read the book about Mitch Boyer and your version looks very much like the picture of him! Really great work! Look very much forward to see more!

I really liked the sculpts. And then you really painted them! Utterly fantastic. What a colorful crew. I think of the Atlantic Custer's Last set and just to think how far this hobby has advanced now thanks to efforts like this.

A fantastic landscape with fantastic figures - that's realistic diorama building in perfection.

Have just found this old post that I had missed - due to a longish period absent from the hobby - and what astonishing work it is.
You are really contributing enormously to a raising of the bar in our hobby. Hope I can find some finished pictures of the finished diorama but the landscape is truly breathtaking….. which is not to mention your incredible conversions!
Congratulations Egbert.
