Doesn't matter which animal you put those legionnaires on, they look good on everything! A great project that I really look forward to see more of!

Yep.

I'm rather hoping that you've got two Airfix Fort Apaches put by for when you finish Fort Sahara.

Oh no! Now you've got me dreaming! Only (think I've thrown it away) had one very broken Fort Apache. Played too much with it! Would be great to see something like that. I've seen on facebook that our friend Blockhouse (I think he calls himself here) is building a fort in 28mm. He is the one that made Valdemar's castle. Hmm, seems to have left facebook at the moment. :(

Hi , friends.
Thank you very much. I'm glad you're enjoying the work. It encourages me to continue this long work in the short time I have available.

The smoking pipe legionary was made using the arm and head of figure Italeri ACW.

The other two legionnaires are conversions of well-known figures, using the upper body and replacing the kitchen canteen that a legionnaire carried on his back by an rifle.

The part to be able to ride on the camel, I made sculpture and then copies in white metal.

Hi , friends.

Thank you very much for the comments.
After much work, the first part of the project, building a fort that had several versions to use in the fun, was completed.
The second part will be the troops and animals, in the versions of rest and in combat.
I hope you like it.

I've said it before. I'll say it again. The best thread on Bennos.

Amazing work.

What can be made out of the old sometimes flat Airfix Fort Sahara. Congratulations and the figures, that are going to come, will be fo tastic conversions, too. You already showed us the start.
