The presented kits hold no resemblance with real historical vehicles as far as I can say.

Maybe some very simplified versions of Kfz.69 ("Krupp Protze") or Kfz. 1, leichter geländegängiger Einheits-PKW ("Stoewer")?

Luckily Mr. Matchbox never see what you do with his kit!
But nice idea!

The original L2H 43 (six wheeled version) was inofficial named Krupp-Protze.
L = Lastwagen (lorry)
2 = Nutzlast in Tonnen (playload in: t)
H = Hochrahmen (High frame)
4 = Zylinderzahl (Number of cylinders)
3 = Dreiachser (Number of axles)

Your Utility version is then.
L ( The load is up to you) H 42
So maybe:
L 1 H42

Your Staff version is then:
K for (Kommandowagen) Staff car.
Not playlload in: t. Instead number of seats.
So maybe:
K 4 H 42

Maker: First to fight. 1/72
Polish version of Krupp-Protze.
Mabe the poles bought some chassis. And make there own body on top.
Or it is a Hungarian made version.

Well I made the conversion to the six wheels staff car in scratch some years ago (the Hungarian) and the Kfz 19 too, in both cases I worked with a ICM kit .
It happens that about 20 years ago I bought some kits from the Krupp protze of matchbox, but then the ICM kits appeared and then the Dragon kit, (I have at least three of each). And those matchbox kits were left there.
They are not such good kits to do something "serious".
So I decided to play a little with my imagination and do something with them, I put them the rear independent horizontal coil springs in the front to make a 4x4 vehicle.
Being a unrealistic vehicles I was thinking more in a "nikanme" than in a techincal name...you know, we call the old fiat 600 "little ball" (in spanish "bolita"), the citroen 3 cv was "the frog", the heinkel Trojan was "the rat"...you know...something like that but in german...cause ths project is a joke, this is just for fun :P

The Krupp "Herbie" or "DuDu" vehicle series maybe?

https://de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dudu

https://de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herbie

And while considering this topic one should definitely listen to this golden classic:

Is`n it great that we get the option to choose between kits and in different versions in 1/72 now. 20 years back Matchbox or in a set of ARII. And both of them in 1/76 low level.

I read that the German tanker`s called the tank 1 (Sd Kfz 101):
Krupp`s Sportwagen. (Krupp`s roadster).
What about the nikanme : Essenschaukel (Foodshaker)
Krupp is located in the city Essen. The word Essen (essen) is also used in German language for "to eat". This is a support car who can bring the food cross country, off road finally - shaken.

This time not technical more logical.

Well, I was thinking in "Franz" (because Beckenbauer, my second foavourite football player :yeah: ), or "springer" ( thats what mrs Frieda, my grandmother's German friend used to call me when child , some years later when she knew what her granddaughter verena was doing with me after school she changed my nickname, but I do not remember that anymore  )
Ok, the model will be "l1 h42, schaukel kröte" in two versions, the sportwagen and the utility, the Streichholzschachtel.

Puhh ! Now we are all so glad to solve this problem of mankind in the last year.
Now you have a free mind for other unusual projects.

Good decision Carlos.
Because "springer" was already used.
(See my latest Dio "sod it". There is my first scratch build. A "Springer" :-D)

Question.
In my last post I mentioned zu Guttenberg.
The last one I expect to get a like is you and FedG.
Because these are well knowen German news a few years back.

SNIP!

Graeme, if you still copy /paste, I'll call my former 5-grade teacher so she can hit with a stick on the back of hand.
And then when you go back to your house, with a note in your notebook saying "the student cheated at school today" your mother will finish the task giving you a good ears tug and sending you to the corner without television ... and if you're lucky, she will not tell your father, because if she does ... God will not want what can happen. But for sure you will have problems to sit down, and you can forget about a new kit to assemble and be able to play the neighborhood gang of boys for a week...
