Roman wooden-earth wall Gate, first painting steps

Hello,
attached a photo of the first steps of the painting, the following colors were used:
Underpainting (Primer): Vallejo Model Color 70.991 Dark Sea gray
It continued with oil paints from W & N series Artist:
Base: Umber natural, 2-3 times almost watery over the entire surface, and let it dry.
1. Lights: Warm gray
2. Lights: Warm gray with Naples yellow light
3. Highlights: Naples yellow light

Your painting to look like wood looking very good.
Especial the two big square in front. Down is a bit more dark. And up is more light. :thumbup:
And the small things like the row of nails is visible. Well paint.

it is nice to read all the color and steps to achieve this painting result.
No top secret.
