The Camels are coming! Huzzah! Huzzah!

They do stand on their own, Being metal, the first job was to file the bases flat. However, they will be glued to bases covered in sand. (The bases, not the camels)

I've started on the riders and this pose seems to be a little forgetful. Four of them have lost their swords already. :-D

Well that worked. Suddenly they've acquired swords and one's even picked up a trumpet (bugle).

The tunics and 'loons are now coloured. The 'loons were undercoated scarlet then finished in dark red. The tunics are royal blue (the tungsten light effect is knocking the colours off in the photos). The trumpeter is as with the 'loons. Quite a lot to do. the lacings should be good on these when I get round to them.

I'd have done a bit more tonight but they all went off to the waterhole with the camels.

The camels say that they didn't pay for their round of drinks at the waterhole.

I've sorted the lacings, cartridge pouches, tunic tails and tidied them up a bit. We're slowly getting there.

Those are very nice looking figures. And your doing a very fine job of making them look even nicer.

The camels with their colourful harnesses lookj really good.
