Many thanks for praising my work.

The mold is made of high temperature silicone and castings in white metal alloy (tin and antimony).

These are beautiful and the painting is first class.

I am tempted to look into castings myself.

I used to copy the Airfix Waterloo French In plaster of Paris casts and lead as a child.

Not very good but great fun when they worked.

I found some whilst sorting out troops for Captain Silbourne.

Best wishes,

Chris

That's the easiest way of commenting. Waiting that other people write nice comments and then just agreeing with them :P :xd:

Hi, friends.
Many thanks for all the comments.

Continuing, more French troops.
The figures are from the manufacturer Emhar, as they are the only ones I have that are using epaulettes for the beginning of the war.

In my opinion, the heads of the figures are not good. Even after they are painted, I am changing some. I think that well-made heads with an expressive face make a lot of difference in the figure.

ACW Imex and Italeri officers also with changed heads.

Hi , friends.

Thanks for the comment.
More French. Cavalry figures still in the testing phase:

- Hussars or hunters on horseback, because the uniform was very similar, but I still haven't decided if I should wear a fur hat or kepi.

- Hunters from Africa.

- Cuirassiers.
