Work in Progress

Alexander the Great, Hydaspes

Posted by carlosfaro on 20 May 2018, 19:35

This project seems to be overwhelming when finished.. Battle is quite appealing with macedonian phalanx and war elephants in the same place!
A lot of fine painted miniatures already, keep on showing!,

I am not sure how I have missed this Mr T.

Super work indeed.

Looking forward to see it all come together.

Best wishes,

Chris

Looking great! No wonder the desk is crowded! Having so many elephants on it!

I really like all of these. The phalanx looks great, the charging cavalry looks great, I love the look of the warriors with crested helmets and the elephants are wonderful.

These figures look fabulous fighting across your desktop, they'll look awesome in a diorama.

Thanks everyone, working on chariots and glue gun went warm as I undertook another box of the Phalangites from HaT. Primed and ready for painting.

Almost complete, as you can see, in this batch I have added more variety as uniforms were still a unknown concept.

I'm happy to see each new post with photos in this topic.
What brand of decals did you use? Did you use decal softening solutions or just plain water?

Decals are from Little men studios https://www.littlebigmenstudios.com/
I just use water no softening solution.
