Now this could go any way of 12 :P

Is that a Roden model? I have noted that Roden like to have the lewis gun offset and not central in the cockpit.

The D.H: 2 is the experienced mold of Airfix. The lewis gun is from a lend and lease program with Eduard.
The one in the kit fit more to the Forum member Carlos and his Comic, Sci fi figure scenes.
:-D

I am sorry this wonder will not appear.
(So if you looking for something and did not see it and an other person know where the thing who you are looking for is and tell you the way by cold and warm.)
You get a warm.

Back in timeline around the mid to end 70 ties there was a small boy at school. At the back of its classroom there was a library. One of these books he took again and again. It was about the development of planes. Especially one page hit is interest. A dogfight with WWI planes. There was one plane who look so different to all the others, with the propeller at the wrong end ...

The young boy grow up. But pictures can`t get out of his mind.
Several decades later memories become true ...

My favourite 'pusher' is the FE2. You have to admire the gunners position when firing rearward over the airscrew. He's not strapped in. Incidentally it was this action that took down MvR first and he never really fully recovered.

Kits for this aircraft are like gold dust.

Very true! :yeah:

During research I learned that it existed more pushers as only the D.H.2.
And come across the name Lanoe Hawker.
For kits I find only Airfix or Pegasus (plastic, metal parts) and a very promising Eduard one.
But only Airfix was available (ebay).

Thank you for Interesting b/w pic. A four blade propeller. I will use one too at my D.H.2.
I have seen it at build D.H.2 models. But no proof of a pic if a D.H.2 use it. But in this case I believe the modellers.
I also change the tires due to the too big diameter. But now the tire are too wide.
How you make it, it is wrong!

That photo is an FE2 a much different animal.
I have only seen the DH2 fitted with a 2 blade propeller. A single seat 'pusher' with a 4 blade airscrew could be the FE8

FE8

This was a novel way of firing the machine guns forward....no interruptor switch had been made yet. And others that had the guns on the top wing.....hard to aim and clear any jamming of the mechanism. I like the build up so far. Keep up the great work Brother. I'm all a tither waiting for your next update.

Hmmm ...
Thank you. So that you underline my research beside the seen build models. I change my mind and will use a two blade propeller.
Impressive in your thankfully added film is how few meters the starting D.H.2 need to lift the rear.

That's a rock solid Quarterdeck brace. No flying stringbag's going to knock him off there.

At least if it gets close enough to knock him off his trousers (pants) are the right colour.
