You are ver buisy.

Well build with some funny unrealistic ideas. Like the tank 4 gun mount.
If such a monster will drive. But where? Can´t pass the very most bridges. (You forget the two Jumo 006 jet engine left and right to fly over all trouble on his way.)
At the Autobahn. The two lane are wide for it. The driver have to watch out for starting Me262. And where did the monster get the amount of fuel? Need no fuel is powered by Krypton?


As you read I am not a fan of What if.
But the individual spring option is very interesting! Innovative in this scale! Thanks for showing us.
Maybe we get this for real monster like the King tiger too.

However, it is nice to just feel free. Simply because you have to do something like it. Whether it is realistic or not.

The tank was planned with 140 tons. The ground pressure would simply have pushed the vehicle into the ground (Ground pressure: 1.43 kg / cm². As a comparison: Leopard 2A4 0.83 kg / cm²). No way to realize that. There are pictures of a Königstiger who has laid on the ground with his tank. Just sunk in the earth. And this tank had only about 70 tons!

So you're right, it's nonsense. But the nonsense has made me very much fun!

The Modeling Mass is from 'Apoxie Sculpt' and consists of two components.

You can mix 1/3 plasticine for children. I use different colors from the plasticine. The different colors are good at modeling. In this way you can also save money because the plasticine is very cheap! The mass can be processed very well!!!!! I only work with it!

By the way, I still have on set too much. However, the basic color is brown. For this I have brown and white children's kneading. Thus the color can be varied. If you want to have it, simply send me your address via PM. I like to send it all free of charge. I received the set myself from a friend. So this is fully OK for me. I hope you take it! I've got it way too much.

Realistic or not, this is nice and skillfull modelling, and a good looking tank. But of course, if we look in wat direction tank design developed after the war we see these kind of super heavy tank designs are a dead end road. Nevertheless a nice project.

It seems that tanks are for the museum as modern hand-held weapons can take them out, and they are expensive to design, build, maintain, fuel, and arm, and the crews are expensive and time-consuming to train. But I like the project, too. Funny to think of it just sinking into the ground under it's own titanic weight!

I do not agree with you Bluefalchion. The tank is still a formidable weapon in conventional land warfare. There are no other weapons platforms that have such a balanced combination of firepower, protection and mobility. It might more be the case that the type of war in which tanks come to their right were (luckily) sparse during the last decades.

I find the discussion about the future of tanks exciting. I also have a very personal opinion about this.
Tanks are an ideal weapon platform. In cities, small and manoeuvrable wheel-armors will dominate.
They will in many cases be without crew. They are remote controlled like drone. Unrealistic? I do not think so. As far as I know, Rheinmetall Canada is working on such vehicles. I had seen a movie at Youtube about a weapon trade fair.

It's so bad with the wars. But unfortunately there will always be conflicts. This is probably the nature of humanity - unfortunately. That is why there will probably be tanks in the future. But they will differ greatly from the current tanks. I believe that.
