Kostis Ornerakis, it is already a masterpiece! :yeah: The boat as well as the figures are beautiful. I like your painting style very well. Your style is very individual.

But what makes me speechless - I can only write it again - is the representation of the water and the waves. One has the impression of depth and movement. Incredible, fascinating and fantastic !!!! :-D

I like the conception that this type of small boat could have many uses, within our own fanciful imaginations.Such things are certainly for story telling even if there are no describing words to go along with the pictures. Here we see the small craft upon a rather magical sea.
As an author in my own right,I love it all because it conjures up many an adventure in my mind.
All details including boat ,figures and the sea is a real piece of art ,
and it did spring up most active from certain Forums members.
So is kinda special in that sense, and is a bobbing on the water success! BB

Seems to be not very windy.
Most of the existing crew is rowing. As the nice seagull is low.
I like that we can see the last rowing touch in the water close to the swallowing wave.

Great implanting of the soft colored figure.

The boat looks good with the oarsmen in place, the scene is really coming together nicely.

I like the look of the water where the oars have dipped.

I don't remember how often i sat in front of my pc and didn't know which words i should choose, that they would correspond to the quality and brilliance of these many works of art in this forum. It's because too i don't want to write the same again and again. Today i feel so again. I miss the words, this little ship makes me speechless because of enthusiasm.

Thank you for your comments, Gunnar, Erik, Michel, Graeme, Torsten and huib. :notworthy: :-D
Though my friend Mr. Cryns preparing a set of rowers, I would like to describe how I converted mine, in case anybody have a similar problem in the future.
I had already stuck dol pins ( used to fasten the oars ) in the proposed positions and the benches as symmetrically as I could.
Then I copied in resin, Orion rowers this way: Upper body half with hands ( I used 2 different, one clothed and one unclothed) and skirt with legs. ( I also used 2 but it wasn't necessary ). I also copied different heads. By gluing body halves by different angles combined with different heads gives a not so uniform result.
The reason to make the resin copies is that as a material is by far more friendly.
Next step was to glue oars in place. (One of them is scratcing the surface of of the water)
And I was faced with the hardest part. Adjusting the hands of the rowers.
Well it turned out not to be difficult at all. I cut off both hands from everyone's shoulders and gave each rower a specific seat. All the lower hands wanted just a different angle. For the higher hands I excluded the biceps and I connected with a wire. After fitting I filled with epoxy putty.
I have painted the rowers with rather light colours having in mind their low potition.
