Next Build Update:
Image
Scratchbuilt 2 spare road wheels and their spring housings. Also made the brush guard attachment too.
Image
I also added a fuel container to the rear engine deck area. Both the spare road wheels and container were envisioned after I found a reference photo showing them on the Bridge layer variant.
Yea!! The figures from Milicast have arrived. Work on the figures will commence shortly. Thanks for watching. Questions or comments?

The fuel tank is a nice addition. I like things like that without too much extra work. As an example seen in my Dio called Feldumbauten.

Waiting eagerly for the painted crew!

Sorry everyone it's been so long since I've done an update. My apologies.
Image
I've finished the last bit of tank detailing. I replaced the simplified rigging system provided in the kit with a more accurate one. This is made out of styrene and nylon thread.
Image
A-frame header plate, pulleys, shackles, etc. were replicated as close as possible to the original system. Also visible is a Tank commander figure from Milicast.
Note: To counter balance the weight of the bridge, nuts and bolts were added to the interior of the Churchill.....a lot of them....Hahahahahahaha.
Image
Correct anchor footings were made as per reference photos. Use of nylon thread to replicate wire rope chokers worked out quite well. Cotton thread has a tendency to fray and look fuzzy.
Thanks for watching. Any questions or concerns, feel free to ask.

More great work, Bill! This Churchill is getting more beautiful and interesting every time. I especially admire the pully and cable system that you scratchbuilt. An impressive level of detail, and technically not easy to do so neatly, I would say from my own experience.

Lot of work. Looking good. Like the rigging as all the white parts.
