can't help with the first lot, that one must have slipped by me.

But the Victorian sleuths are instantly recognisable, you don't need to change a thing.

The one in the deerstalker hat smokes a pipe... don't ask him what's in it.

It will be interesting to see how you will do the clear helmets of the ALIENS green friends.
Yesterday in the cinema I saw ALIEN Covenant. The story is not for true new. But I feel me good entertained.

Ah that's Holmes and Watson Carlos.

Why do aliens always carry off a scantily clad blonde woman?

And what have they got against skyscrapers? :eh:

Well, if you remember when I made "space dog" and made those fishbowls helmets , it's simple, it's the same technique that we use to make the glass for lamps of the vehicles, take a transparent plastic sheet, heat it with heat (but not melt) and then stab her with the handle of a brush, you will have thimbles that you then cut, and ready.

Graeme, you made a good question...
And not only happens with liens, the creature of the black lagoon also wears blond girls, and werewolf, and some zombies, and vampires ... and King Kong!!!.
I think that if we are in any mosnter attack, better be far from blonde girls...and skycrapers.

ACK-ACK-ACK...and i can add...ack, but with a little of ack.

He's a good medicine to reduce the pain caused by Muslim terrorism. :(

Well that was wrong. I have seen that Mars movie once but it was 20 years ago.
Or is this the original cult movie from the 1950's?

Anyhow: congratulations with your new sculpts. Very impressive work. I wish I could sculpt that precise and detailed.

This is the original Mars Attacks medium, trading cards. From memory I would have placed them in the late 50s but the net says early 60s so I will settle for 1960.
I think everyone's favourite at the time was No. 19

Dear FredG,

Thanks for posting. I am too young to know this.
And its horrifying! 'The charred bones of the brave youths.'

Is this education for British or for American children?
Or is it propaganda and do we have to see this in the perspective of the Cold War?

Well, I dont know in USA or Britain, but here these cards were published in the 70's in my country too, in argentina, translated into Spanish, came inside a box of candy, I think the candy mark was "Stani", but I'm not sure.
In these time here we had a lot of problems of terrorism from "revolutionary guerrillas", in the context of the "cold war", that may be was "cold" in another countrys, here it was very "hot"... and the cards where for fun, for education were the photos of the exploited cars that we the children saw in the newspapers of our parents and sometimes in the street ...
Ant way later these martians became a classic in comics and these kind of things, I like thems!!!
They have a basic mentality and are very psychotic :-D
I want to make thems.
