At the Rosebud

While I wait for figures to continue my kingofthemountainthingy I try to finish something else. When I painted Massimo's LittleBigHorn-figures I also painted some RedBox-figures, but there is no way to mix them so I had a couple of figures for the Black Hills Campaign of 1876 lying around finished. I have a couple of more RedBox-figures and since the sculpting isn't that good and noone except me will see them in the flesh I can paint more and maybe make a little scene for another battle of that campaign. Ah, and I have two new supervisors!

And I don't know how it is for you but I have been haunted by the ghosts of unpainted figures. For years!

And I still, after about ten years, have some hope to finish my old idea about the battle of Gata Forest 1365.

Managed to paint a little more on these figures! One of the supervisors found a flowerpot to hang on :eh: and left, but the other one is still there seeing to that I do my work! Bad pic, bad figures, bad painting (right now, will be better :-D ), but good mood! :-D

These are seeds of a flower/plant. Those in the picture are in mother-in-laws house, but I have some at home too. I don't remember what plant right now, but before Dali say anything it is NOT tomato and you don't smoke them. :-)

Thank you so much for your answer, Susofrick.

I am happy to hear this. I worried it was dead fish (some traditional Swedish deco-art?)
and that it was covered by a glass ball to prevent the smell.

Correction, they are not seeds, but seedpods to Antirrhinum (snapdragon). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antirrhinum

Antirrhinum,we have in the raised garden in the actual courtyard, I will collect a bunch for dried display.

Love the bottle tops, spiders and of course your Red Box figures. The Pussy Cat seems amused by it all. BB

Almost finished this bunch, but the grass I bought was too short so I will have to wait a little before I finish this scene. No problem, since I have some other stuff to paint! :-D
