Flying is easy. landing is easy too. The difficult part is landing well enough that you can walk away .

Wiking, a very interesting and also very funny thread! :-D It is really nice to see you at work and to witness the individual work steps.

And you tell us with your diorama again an exciting story. As always masterclass! :yeah:

I love the many little detail. The small red / white plane is my favorite. Sweet!!!!!

By the way, are you sponsored by 'Adidas'? If no, then you should ask with times. Great advertising for the 'three stripes' !!! ;-)

Six of these in a box as shown above for 4.25€.
The sense say no not your scale but the flesh was ...
weak!
And lead by an unknown force my fingers grasp ...

Is this situation known to you?

Wiking, thank you for the further beautiful pictures of the small airplane!!!!! :-D Also thanks for the product information! :yeah:

But in the end, the big question remains: How is it possible to paint such a small airplane so detailed? How did you paint the red / white checked pattern? And and and .....? Incredible!!!

A small piece of art! Really, I like it very much!

Simply a water slide decal set for Japanese war ships in 1/350.
It is for another project. But in 1/72.
Be like a small child sometimes at model shows. "Is that nice colorful."
And again an unknown force lead my fingers ...

Thank you very much for your continue nice comments.
Praise me not too high. I do only cook with water too. :-D

Without going any deeper each figure represent a person who my college and I work together. And one is not shown but his "work" will indicate him.

Hello Kostis Ornerakis
Thank you.

There are some insider facts, pose, situation of people where I work. Just my college will get the idea of the single situations - I hope so.
Puuh! It is much harder as I thought to find suitable figures.
So it is impossible for you to find a whole logic this time.

That's Deana Lund in "Land of the Giants"

Image

And she's already been modelled. ( Not by me)

The face isn't too flattering though.

Whatever happened to the mini skirt? According to the Sci-Fi films and Sci-Fi TV series of the 50's and 60's, all women are supposed to be wearing them. ( Do we need a special thread showing this?) :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

The model face really do not look like hers.
Don`t know this Sci-Fi serie. The hairstyle is also typical for that time. B/w Buck Rodgers with starships
who be powered by real burning alkali metals I saw at TV. And also in b/w starship Orion (Raumschiff Orion) I know for that time frame. The captain speak into a faucet and turn a iron to adjust speed. :-D

some more bits and bobs.

My intension was to put some "technical" aspects inside.
One figure in hard plastic. One in 3D print. One in soft plastic. One in resin and one in metal.
The last mentioned material finally ended by an animal, the fox.
