My college at work do fly and build RC planes as his hobby . He like the Wilga. She is so ugly I have to build it as RC plane he told me once. He had done two now! Some time ago he get an Eastern Express short run Wilga as a present by friends. He ask me if I want it because he is not so with stand modelling. I told him to build this Wilga kit for him.

BIG MISTAKE!

The kit.
No.
Dementi: The thing who want to be of something to build, maybe.
Shortrun!
All parts fit easily, problem free and well together no filling and sanding was need and the sun was shining anymore. Only a kit from MAC made more fun!
And I have to admit that I build in the past Eastern Express T34 short run kits.
As several ACE kit!

The Instruction.
Joke!
Glory to the Internet!
Heck, I glue the underside of the wing in the wrong direction.
Hey! This was not shown in the black line and circle on white paper.

After some frustrating work with the Wilga I start to build a kit that all parts fit together.
The Dio "Message in a bottle" was done.

Then I start to build again the Wilga.
Putty here, Putty there. Sanding this and sanding that, stop.

I do an other short run to learn and make not all wrong.
The Dio "Paradise bird" was finished. With a short run plane, Boomerang.
Unfortunately the Boomerang quality was in all ways much higher as the Wilga. :eh:

Now around one year later I try to fight these Wilga beast into a Dio.
This plane is in my opinion too filigree for short run.
The pic show the frustration right now.

I never give up!

I plan a landing scene indeed.

You are right. The huge clear windows at the front, side and on top catch my interest. Non of my planes since my youth got so big clear parts in comparison to the overall size.

This time very easy. I got an order.
Yellow and blue.
And this are straight lines! Totally different to all turns and bows of camouflage.

Wiking, I soon realised early in my life that figures needed props too,
or they would float away upon the void of untamed space.
A bit like thoughts and ideas do constant upon the streams of ones very own day.
You of course you and others realised this too, and it does certainly add to the fun of it all.

Of course I can see one now,but did your aircraft kit have a pilot, as i realise that many do not?
That is a very fine camera shot too showing the tilt of your aircraft.
All in all, a well thought out fixed into place ,and executed plan relying upon your talent ,
and the swing of a camera shot to cast the illusion of inbound flight.
:sst: "bump! It`s safely down." ___________  "It`s Magic!"

Great piece of work. Well done.
Post Script, I like the footballer pose too. BB

Thank you very much Beano Boy for your fine words.

You can count it to the, many do not.
The kit get not a single figure nor a pilot. And if they would do so they copy for sure an ex Matchbox pilot.
The pilot I choose is from the biplane K5Y2, brand LS. The orange biplane (Red Dragonfly) who crashed with the small Asian junk Dio.
Sorry to say but it was necessary to cut his - head (Maybe to change his kamikaze mind?). And was then replaced for an Airfix radio operator from the control tower kit.

The used LS pilot.

Now I'm puzzled as to the footballer holding a bow. Unless he's going to gopher goal with a shot.

Sorry
