Well done MR Traveller. Lots going on and plenty of action.

I am looking forward to the new Strelets ACW sets as they promise good quality figures and lots of them for a good price.

I gave a hankering to refight Antietam and these guys will be most useful.

Keep up the good work..

Best wishes,

Chris

Pickett, never forgave that old man.

Just what I like lots of figures on mass.
A darn good effort too for the painting. Bravo! BB

Nice Diorama with plenty of action. Well painted too.
My only criticism is that it looks like a highly successful advance.

A few hundred troops did get that far, but hopefully when I add more casualties, the road and fence where most of the attack stalled, and the union reinforcements arriving it will be obvious what a failure it was.

And every one of them was either captured or killed.

As I thought you'd be portraying it, it is WIP

It does make you wonder what Lee was thinking that day. We know what he thought later, it was the others' faults.
Oh! he also remarked that the Union soldiers may have had something to do with it too

The bases of the figures, just hate them, and they are very apparent here, as in any diorama with a field. This has kept me up at nights, yeah it's a first world problem, then I realised that I could just edit them out in postproduction. Results vary of course but some dramatic differences are clearly visible!
