So happy to see you posting some of your latest work.
Those lancers must be Franznaps sculpts, right?

And great, great work on those trees. Thats real masters work
My deepest respect for that.

Hallo Mr. Cryns,
you're right, they are rebuilt figures of lancers from Franznap.

I forgot to tell you how much I like the construction and painting of the wood in your houses.

And once more it has to be said how great the copperwire windings of your trees are. Its done so exact, this will save you a lot of work by covering the trunk an branches with putty. Its clear you have many years experience. Already in your Teutoburg Forest dio you made your own (fir) trees. Also great to see how you looped the end of the branches to split them in 2 or 3 at each branch end.

I want to ask you permission to copy these two pictures of yours to my scratch build tree tutorial in this forum as a remarkable good example of how to make wire trees.
And add your name to it of course. Will you agree with that?

Wow Egbert,

Thanks for these new pics. Looks great.
All those different trees!

One more question about your copper windings, before I copy some of your pictures to the tutorial section: are those copper windings construction-related only, or did you add some extra wire afterwards to smoothen and perfectionize the round shape of trunk and branches?

Hallo Mr.Cryns,

thankyou for your nice words ...

Dear Egbert,

Thanks for the new pictures. That birch looks terrific too, a tree that is on my wish list for years now to make myself. At least I don't have to make the tutorial now because you already did :yeah: and I can not do it any better :-D
Since you send us different phases of oak, chestnut and birch and you have no chance now to re-organize them tree-by-tree in this topic, I like to wait a little longer until you post pictures with foliage so I will regroup them in three different sections in the tutorial page. Don't hurry, I will not forget about this extremely high quality work of yours even if the next pics are appearing after months.
