My new project

Ålla looks really fantastic. :yeah: Wonderful big eyes, a friendly smile, the golden hair top dresses, a slender talie and a dreamlike dress (is that of Dior?). I think the 'petit' horns give the woman something special and unique. Really not everyday. Adorable! What does a man want more ??? ;-)

Gentlemen prefer blondes, it is said. Well yes, her golden hair is really eye-catching. (And everything else, of course, too!)

I think Ålla will be flattered, since she's not married she consider the above comments a proposal for a date!   Sorry, Wiking, I just have some lions and they don't pass as cute kittens! I know Leo sell some nice cats, but Ihaven't bought them. But I have bought some dogs and I plan to buy more! :-D and maybe some cats too

Hi! Thanks for all the nice comments! This will be the last update here for a while because I have to buy more figures to finish this and I hope to do that some time during the Summer. During this little break I will be painting other stuff, mainly dogs! :-) Carlos asked about a song. I don't know, but here is a little pic of Ålla and some musical trolls. I haven't done anything with them, they are like this when you buy them.

Okay, some answers! Many countries have stories about a leader from history that sleeps in a cave/on a magic island and awaits the moment he is needed for his country. The French have Charlemagne, The Brits have King Arthur, and so on. We Swedes have twelve knights that sleep in a cave in a pretty insignificant part of Sweden. So this is something I will try to make my own version of.

Splendid happy go lucky Giant figures Gunnar. I like E`m Lots.
Very interesting theme you are pondering upon too.
Happy hunting in your endeavour to find the right fantasy figures for your needs. BB

I confess that this work brings me very curious, I'm anxiously waiting for the next update.

The other dogs are made by Alex and from Valdemar (different sets). You counted right Wiking! And Santa is sitting at the table too! :-D I haven't yet decided what figures to use. According to the legend there are twelve knight in that cave, but I plan some more table scenes so I will use them all, but not all of them for this. And just one dog that's already painted. Worst pics than usual! And in this case I fully blame the phone. I know all that about not talking bad about the dead, but it died right after I took these pics so it was probably quite sick at the time. Have to buy no cellphone. It's quite mad how dependent you are on your phone! :eh:

Today morning I can`t get into the Internet at home. At work the a simple computer program will not work. And on top due to an update it was also not possible to get into the Internet. :-D
And here in Germany they will accept (in 2020) autonomous driving cars!
37° Celsius today, 98,6 Fahrenheit. And the car parking in the sun the whole day!

Fortunately you attested me that I count right. My biological computer program would work. Yea! Sometimes. :-D

I am looking forward to seeing with my one good eye,
your painted figures Gunnar.
Especially the dogs.
One can never have to many dogs.
Or to many story`s that twist,
and turn upon a colorful whim of song.
Spiders included of course.
Although i do not know for certain if Spiders can actually sing,
but they certainly have the legs for dancing. :-D

THE PHONE

My house phone i never answer,
having no friends that call.
Well all i ever seemed to get were Fat Cat Scammers on the line anyway.
I happen to have a cave under the castle,
where giant crabs often get washed in upon the high tide.
So i think the phone belongs there next to the skeleton chained to the wall.
Perhapes it will rattle a few boney fingers,
and answer it upon its incessant bl..ding ringing! BB

Started to paint and primed them in a wash for once. Not that happy with that method, but it was worth a try at least. And of course spiders can play and sing! I mean, David Bowie did an album with a couple of them!

If you plan to make a diorama or a scene it is very important to finish the figures you won't need first! At least, that's what I've done. :eh: Can probably use the young kid for this, but not the rest. Whatever! Maybe the sitting guy too. Neither Photbucket nor Tinypic (surprise surprise) work right now so I try Google and it won't work either. Bah, you get the links at least.
