The king of the mountain and his mother-in-law!

But I haven't decided what 1/72-figures they will meet yet!

My first idea when seeing this guy dressed in white was "it's the Pope"! But a pope has of course no mother-in-law, and I'm glad that the title "King of the Mountain" clarifies this.
Nice start for a project! And now I am really curious to see what other figures you will select.

I look forward to the potential avenues of this new topic Gunnar. Those Spiders amongst those paint brushes could hand you the one needed to paint the rest, for treasured stash sparkles in a greedy splendid way,and no king or his throne has ever remained whiter than white!
:sst: "o mother, a mother in law, help! help", pleaded the timid little button who never talks in toonful capitals.BB

It's all pretty scary. Not sure I'd want to be the 1/72 figure meeting these!

Looking forward to seeing it develop! :-D

Thanks for all the comments! :-D Hmm, been thinking a little and there will be a story. I apparently (checked my old blog) started thinking about something like this back in 2010. Our hero, Blomma, were in a competition that year. There will be knights, the mother-in-law will be upgraded to a troll (named Ålla), and there will certainly be a dog there too! A little hairy one from Valdemar.

Hm ... that's a difficult task. I mean, how do you indicate the difference between a mother-in-law and a troll?

Every married man will be able to tell the difference and most will prefer the troll ( there's always an odd one though)

A dog, Gunnar`s trademark!
A story of lots of odd jots and plots, hopefully?
I like the spiders ,and when using them, the cobwebs come free. BB

You don't tell mother-in-law! The troll doesn't care that much.

.... along quite nicely I think! Here is a little family picture. Nothing is finished except maybe Blomma and his dog Snowy.

And this time I used two cups! One for tea and one for brushes! And I managed to not mix them up!

Both pic indicates me that the one in the blue red clothes give Snowy a "GO"!
To bring him your fine cup of tea.
In the meantime he will defend with his sword the big master against the green spider attack.

So we still have no answer to that crucial question: how does acrylic color taste?

Finished the king, Ålla and a dog. I won't use all the dogs I have for this, but I show the painted ones here. They are Stenfalk and Valdemar. My hero Blomma is also present.

Not a very good pic so here is a closeup on Ålla:
