Posted by Fredericus-Rex on 18 Mar 2017, 06:39

Hello,
the tower of the mill is now ready, and I start with the roof. It is to be a reed roof, it consists of a fur imitation. It is should consist of four graded layers, you see the first layer.

This all looks very good Mr. Rex! :notworthy:
Your skills of making thatch roof are splendid.

Did you see my last contribution to your roof question?
So now you made me curious: what source did you find about thatched roofs? Was it a written source or a visual one?
