The Saxons are coming

You shrank your mate!

Oh well, he's in good company because these are fine looking troops. Nice work on the white uniforms of those grenadiers especially since it's all done with just shading on the original figure colour. That's darn clever stuff.

After a bit of an extended painting break to being break 'up north', I'm back in business. The firing line is primed and ready to start.

I believe that these might be the last 1/72 scale set Hat made with rigid plastic?

Anyway FredG,in a bottle top short of way you have made a good start to these figures.

As I recall i painted mine for ,`The Parade', as 1806 Germen soldiers ,because they wore colourful trouser overalls. :-D BB

Painting is progressing on this firing line. I has been extended a little, that's both the painting and the firing line due to the addition of the figures loading their muskets.
it's been decided that they will represent two regiments, von Sanger and von Niesemeuschel.

We're getting there. The figures are ready for the washes and highlighting. Regimental colours on the pom-poms and buttons are still to be applied (after the washes).

A well painted wall of black white and red.
The only difference are the beer bases.

Thirsty guys!
