Now a car, a little more difficult problem.

1//6 oxford metal jaguar type E.

Image

Big problem, teh car is not in scale, the wheelbas is short in 3 mm for the scale.

Image

Width looks to be OK

Image

Looks the hood is short and these wheels and pneumatyc will be a problem.

Image

The front is very bad, Ligths just painted, and another things that must be resolved.

Image

Comapred with the truck, thing it could work togheter

Image

Image

Ok, to resolve the scale problem (3 mm more in wheel base) and the poor details in the front I decided to cut the front of the car and sculp it in mass.

Well... now the funny part of make a post apocalityc car start.

The funny thing is that I ordered a few days ago an Oxford Diecast car too.
For a idea who is in my head since several months.
And it is good that you show the jaguar naked.
How do you replace the original color? Boiled water?

Your scratch truck look promising.
As the curves  added to the wire.

Well, today te sistem to remove the paint is to use a paint striper or a paint remover, there are some info in internet the hobby abouth to tunnig or improving hote wheels cars have a lot of improvement from the times in wich we scratch our matchboxs with razor sheets . But I cause I'm lazzy decided to use the nail polish of my wife.
I dont have too mucyh experience with this, just see the Quepwick amazing work in his zombies post and try to experiment with this.
Any way it's supoused the paint remover sistem is better.
Wich one car did you buy?.
We will see another crazy race ??? :-D

I catch in "mercado libre" (a kind of Ebay in latin america) a offer from a die cast car collector who decid to sold some of his cars.
Very cheep cararamas and oxfords cars, buy some of each, compearing the cararamas have by far more details and quality and modern, but oxford have more historic models. the guy had some "frogs" citroens 3 cv and another good cars, the probelm with the oxfords is that have no good details, for instance ligths are just painted in metal. Work with metal is very dificcult, I try the dremmel with the jaguar but made holes for ligths was impossible.

Thanks friends, the work is still in the gross phase, about the sculpts, think Alice es being too much hot, wich is quite embarrasing, but any way I finished the master sculp of the body and take a copy in my "dentist putty" mould sistem, to dress her and save the naked body for any future figure.
The Hatter and bunny are more funny, think hatter must be quite kinky character and Bunny a little fool. Will see if can catch the personalities.
Beano, these rims in the motos are real?????

Are you referring to Wheels on my Motor Bikes? I have lots in the Collection but not for conversions. The Sports Cars were given out to RAF Officers during WWII,by the Ministry Of Defence.

LIFE IS ABOUT FAST CARS AND PRETTY WOMAN !

I really enjoy this topic. Thanks for showing your creativity in very clear pictures and for sharing your remarkable methods, some of them I never thought of. :yeah:
Nice truck. And very funny mass roll skeletons. The girls have Angelina Jolie lips. I am curious what they will look like after being painted :-D

Okey,
After 30 days of vacations in Patagonia I am back with some small progress in the project. I was pushing the sculptures a bit. Just body's.

The Mad Hatter

Image

Image

Image

The Bunny Boy

Image

Image

Image

Image

And a superhot supersexy Alice...
With alice I was tryng a new technique of sculpting...not happy with that

Original body
Image

Copy of the body (with the dentist putty technique) in a new epoxi mass (pink) in the boddy, to save the original body, and back to the grey mass again for detalis.

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Ok, all the figures need sand paper, more detalis, weapons etcetcetc...

Image

And a harley davidson fat boy, conversion, that im not sure to use in this dioarama, Im thinking.

Image

Image

Well thats all for now...
