Hey Konrad! One of the old GB Veterans. The Highlanders are perfect for the GB. And, Sascha, I have them already, as well. :-D

Now I'm getting worried! I'm over 50!

Do you also live on an isolated & foggy island somewhere out there? :-D

The latest batch of Strelets releases (10 sets) is available since the turn of the year already.
For example, most shops based in Germany listed them available from not later than the 02. or 03. of January I would say.
The napoleonic marching sets are superb. Better be quick if you want them.

My RedBox 18th Century British Infantry are getting the bottle-top treatment. May be a while before I get any paint on them, but I'll keep you updated...

The very air seemed a twirling mass of Hundreds and Thousand, like those sprinkled upon cream!
And then......they seemed to fuse together ,and then....

Image

.....From the far reaches of The Outer Limits of The Twilight Zone, they appeared.
:cowboy: " These are The Space Rangers."
:sst: " and like The Lone Ranger of Old Times Past, their identities will never be revealed".
:coffee: " So he he,no faces to paint!"
:read: " The highly secret Beam me up Scotty Machine was reset to Beam us down Scotty Setting!"
 " They sure were funnelled down onto BB`s table and in an instant."
:sst:" and from mars!"

:coffee: "Fred was so happy glad to see them."
:cowboy: " Ya-hoo! Space Rangers, always get their Aliens who are on the Lamb!" (RUN)
:sst: "however as we know, `Things', often turn out different when Fred helps out?"

Image

 " Always expect the unexpected!"

Although Fred has lined up a Lining up Puzzlement for Jan`s, Space Rangers,
he does not know who these other Pepper-Pot Aliens are, and when asked who are they ? He simple replied,"Time will only tell,i guess", and with the job done and dusted he skied off to find MayBell.

There is no need for Alarm! The Daleks, have already had their own Parade, somewhere here within the Inner Limits of Benno`s Figures Forum.
:sst: " that was in bb`s olden day days of very tall tales."
 " They had Lancers!"
:cowboy: "The trail is cold Pards, but a Posse could find them in their massed formations."

Is anyone else mad enough to Sci-Fi a little something extra in for the Parade ? BB

Of course the Band is not set out in correct style, but that can be put to rights after looking at military bands on You Tube, for anyone wishing to get it spot on correct. Marching Bands around Winsor Castle I found very informitive to my inquisitive eye. The painting has begun on a few. BB

Here is my first entry for the GB. I was born next to the Danish border. So during the Napoleonic Wars my place of birth was part of the Danish Kingdom. That is why I started with the Danish Infantry from Art Miniatures.

I hope I can finish them soon.

Hello Jan,
excellent initiative. I have contributed so little. Hi time to send in some pictures of marching soldiers. I propose either Napoleonic Hessians, I mean Frank'n'furters or 19th century Turks. Can't make up my mind yet. Let me sleep over it. :-)
Best regards

Yes Peter,I`ll paint lots.120+ to start with. Then a few other regiments to keep up my sleeve as a surprise.
I need to buy fresh paint for the trousers that look black in photographs but are a very dark blue in reality with a red strip. Navy Blue or Midnight Blue. I started painting yesterday and it felt kind of weird painting tiny figures again, but I have clear vision now so I hope to blitz my way through the 3 boxes.

Okay - my contribution is finished and ready for shipment. Don't expect too much of an artwork.
Those weren't the best medal figures I had around - therefore very hard to paint them in a way that let's them look well enough. :eh:

Gimme your address via PM once again, MABO. I gonna send them over in a few days.

Here is my Brush.
There are many like it.
But this one is my Brush.
HOO-YAH!

I will certainly try my best. There is certainly plenty of time for painting that`s for sure.
It would be brilliant if others could cheerfully support the Parade too. It`s fun,and I bet lots have loose figures knocking about in a stash they could spare and pop into the post. Cheer Leaders would be good, but this side of the pond there ain`t any in this scale.BB
