You've painted turnbacks on an officer? Bah! Even Gunnar is way ahead of me... :stressed:

And those are fine figures Zed, they are looking very good to me.

Hello, I see you are progressing already.
Well, here is my cohort of marching bods. I'll let you guess who they'll be. At the moment I'm still making the heads.

One, two, one, two, one, two, one, two,...
Mine are marching in bitactic order. Next year we should have them marching in tritactic order - makes the soldiers go in circles.

Michael

Looking forward to seeing those headless French infantry develop! Also interested to see Mr Andrea's Sardinian Bersaglieri. I've painted some of Strelets' Crimean versions and I suspect that Waterloo 1815's will be much better, especially after some attention from Mr A's brush. :-D

@Mabo - Any chance of seeing an updated list of projects currently pledged to join the march? ;-)

Oh - Jan, I see that you're way ahead of me as usual...

BB unless I am mistaken, these are the first small figures you have painted in some time. Jolly good to see your brush back in action.

No mistake BF! I have not painted small figures for well over a year now because? Well I was far to ill to do so before.

Gunnar, I am thinking that any small number of the Guards Band personal, are well worth painting and sending to Jan.It will all go in the same mail box so no extra cost. A Drummer,a Piper,or whatever would do.

Although I am painting again I am not a conventual painter, so what I miss in the way of buttons others will make up for in their own imaginations of playful hopeful charm. :-D BB

BB--

I knew you were working through some tough personal issues that kept you from painting, that is why I did not comment on those difficulties. Just mark me down as happy you are feeling well enough now to take back up that golden brush of yours!

After these nice posts, I would like to encourage you to join the GB. So your painted figures will march side by side with Pauls. :yeah:

Oh my! 12 Swedes from the GNW, 1 Austrian sailor from the Boxers, 1 American infantry (also Boxer, but can paint him for ACW), and finally 1 Medieval fellow. And now they want some music?!?!?!? Well, I'll see what I can do, but the tomatoes are also marching!

Been working a little on my guys! The colours on the box are wrong so I have to look for other sources, no worries here! :-D I have followed the box a little, but I will repaint that. :-D

Image

And I found my (or rather my younger brother's) Guards Band. Don't have the drums, don't remember any drums so they have been gone a very long time. Plastic rot had set in for some of the figures, but maybe some will go to Bonn. Haven't decided how I shall paint them, there are many Guards Bands in bearskins!

Image

And I found these old marching fellows, just need a little repaint!

Image

But the GNW Swedes are top priority!
