La Guardia Svizzera nella Piazza di San Pietro

Posted by Santi Pérez on 08 Jan 2017, 20:52

I did an attempt in 2015 but it wasn't a very good one!

I don't agree with you, Peter. Your figure looks great, taking into account that the old Revell Imperial infantrymen haven't the stripes engraved in their uniforms, unlike the MM Miniatures Swiss Guardsmen, which have them very clear at least in their pantaloons, stockings, sleeves and lower part of the doublet, making easier the painting task. :yeah:

Here you have the rest of the Swiss Guards painted, being the last three ones the most difficult to paint among all the figures included in the diorama, both civilians and soldiers, due to the complexity of their stripped uniform. :(

The Sergeant with drawn sword.

The next post will include the first pictures of the finished diorama, but in the Gallery section. ;-)

Thank you, Peter and Susofrick. I try always to do the best I can.

I expect to post the first pictures of the finished diorama tomorrow, and hope you would like them too. :-)

Thank you, Lobowwe. I hope you had always seen the pictures of the finished diorama in the Gallery section under the same title. I think it's better than the spare figures. ;-)

Best regards.
