I love the painting work on your new La Reine regt. command group and your stage coach very much.

Some questions:

The windows of that carriage, are those your own additions made of transparent plastic?

From which century on were coaches equipped with real glass windows? Maybe late 16th AD?

And were the ones you show (18th AD) made in single pieces of glass or composite windows?

Thx. As far as I know, windows made of glas were invented in Italy around 1590. The came to the North with the Medici-Family. About strucuture i found nothing. The old paintings I used as reference are not very helpfull. The windows are made of plastic.

An admirable project, I can see many hours of work have been spent in great attention to detail. I am just starting a french Indian wars army so this topic is of great interest to me, Many thanks for sharing your hard work
