Have you heard ever about the drug addicts? The inability for a long time to sculpt also causes me physical pain ..
Also, as in sports and in music - it is necessary every day to play scales .. ;-)
and yet - I can not resist the inspiration ..

Yes great work Alex.

Alex wrote:just remembering how in childhood sculpted from colored plasticine.

This explains some of your great skills!
Can we see any of your childhood work? Did your mother or father take pictures of it?

I like the duo tone sculpting.
Is it for esthetic reasons only?
Or is there two different putty's?

I remember you used Beesputty.

Alex wrote:new modification of the material for the sculpture "Modelayt",

Do you mean Modelight?
Or maybe Modelart?

Oh Peter, you can still buy such a trouser also! But do not forget to open then the new thread "PPP": Pin-up-Peter-in-Pants! I´m sure everyone here would love it...

That could be the end of this forum, with all the members running away! A picture of me wearing such a trouser isn't a good idea! ;-) :-D

Hi , friends !
Konrad, my friend, just need to honestly admit that this factor rules the world and do not resist nature ...
- Thank you..
Indeed, I sculpt intensively with 10 years. (Before this time, too, but seldom molded, and after 10 years - all the time in my hand was a plasticine)
In addition, my father was an artist and he could tell me a little bit, and my mother - a pediatric dentist - and to make molds for casting plaster for me there was no problem that occurs every 10 years.
But the picture was not enough, it was still before the advent of digital photography.
In the picture - a small part of my 12000th army.

Kostis - You, as always attentive.
Yes, it is Russian manufacturer and now he made a new material (2 component) which I like best of all
Mr.Cryns - The use of 2 colors - it's just for fun. The fact that the sculptural mass of well-painted, if mixed with a drop of oil paints or dry pigment.

Thanks for that picture. I don't know your age but the picture must have been taken in the early 1980-s?

This is so great Alex. I have many more questions, don't feel forced to answer all of it. And there is no hurry at all.

- What is the scale? It looks like 35mm or 1:54
- Do you still have them at home?
- Are these all casted replica's of your own sculpts?
- Did you paint these casted figures?
- Or are all of them sculpted in combinations of diverse colored plasticine (like the Tempo knights from the 1970-s)?
- 12000th: You probably mean a 12th century army. Is it the Muscovite army?

But most of all I am curious about this question:
I suppose you were born and raised during the Soviet Union period.
What kind of toy knights and soldiers were available during the 1960-1980 period in Russia? Did you know Elastoline, Starlux, Britains, Timpo, Made in Hong Kong, Made in Taiwan toys etcetera as a child? Or was it most Russian models?

And Kostis thanks for the link & info!
