It is always a thrill to see the first result of such an unorthodox dipping system. Before that first one,it is always a mystery yet to be revealed. So I`m glad when others like the results too.

I have lots of loose bricks Gunnar, but no education on how to lay e`m. ;-) but I might surprise others with that !KciRB dYoLF KniP :-D BB

What good are walls of raised stone without footings? These are made from my chocolate moulds bought from China. They will also raise my railway tunnels too. Giving more clearance for Loco`s pulling heavy lifting cranes.

Image

This action allows extra height in which to build up the base without blotting out good shadow line detail already created. A thick level of moss and other stuff will help plant a pleasing sight for the Loco camera to pick out as each section is passed by. Of course this is a mock up,but this is how each section of stone wall will be supported and set into place.Fish Tank Grade Silicone, will be used to stick the footings to all the walls and tunnels.
I long ago conceived a pattern of design which would be simply placed and not actually stuck onto my railway layout base. So each free stand piece will be easily removed at will. In fact the whole complete layout comes apart because of this design without any problems. On You Tube one can find layouts being part destroyed because everything was plastered up and stuck solid into place.
:-D Mine will not.

This is just a mock up, but this shows where the stone grotesque will stand filling in the wide open space between the two castellation`s.
I have yet to model the base this Lego type stone sentinel will stand on,but have that detail in my mind.

Thank you Jan, very nice to see you on the Forum again.
As far as I am concerned having an over active mind is great
;-) for so many small simplistic ideas that roll out of it upon a daily bases.
" BB`s weaving jig is worthy of rib breaking laughter."
:sst: " but it does work", mentioned the timid little button.

That is one productive little thing, and here`s another.

It concerns Mr Wine Han Dine, needing lots upon lots of large size barrels to ship his Honey Well Wines by the slow gliding narrow boats on this unusual canal.

Having made barrels before there should be no problem making the next two sizes up. BB
