I like the whole arab project.

The option to convert the pose easy of figure from Airfix or Esci, Cäsar are very limted.
All these nice useful civil arabs from Nikolai fill a huge gap.

What i hope to see, get are children playing.

What a wonderful work. The two figures are painted beautifully. The movement of the carpenter looks totally natural. The house facade is totally real. Just fantastic! :yeah:

Dear Entrauner,

It is hard to tell you how much I love this project.
I spotted it before and am happy to hear you finally found time to continue.
Looking for more information I found your 'working bench':

http://www.diorama-dreamland.at/index.php?id=31

Great work and pictures. Little background information.
Though I know you as a man of little words and many beauty full lyrics and visuals, I want to ask some questions:

This architecture looks very Caïro, like depicted by David Roberts or the artists traveling with Napoleon to Egypt (another speciality of yours) This is in particular because of the white and red striped masonry. Is that right? Do you focus on Cairo? Or do you collect a much wider variety of building styles from other regions as well for inspiration? Since you call it 'Arab Basar' it could be situated in many countries.

And what is the exact connection between your diorama and your work for Germania and Nicolai like depicted here?

http://modelismoymodelistasdiorama.blog ... auner.html

Was your Germania scenery and Nicolai figure range inspired by your private diorama? Or was building the diorama triggered by making those commercial objects first?

Good luck with the basar.

thank y'all for your feedback :)

mr.Cryns, I studied many painters , they call orientalists, and by and by it happened to go into the direction of egypt. it is not a particular place, I just try to catch the atmosphere of an oriental city in the later 1800dts. I could also dedect a lot of different architectical influences of other cultures like the osman empire

Nikolai is my own range I founded in the year 2000. my cooperation with Germania is very pleasant and Michael Cremerius takes care of production and distribution - cheers-erik

Thanks for your explanation since only now I realize I am a proud owner of many of your models already, like your wagons I posted before in Benno's Forum but I forgot about who produced all of this and now it turnes out its you!

I did not know at all Nicolai is your own range. So now I start asking myself: in what miniature world did I live for the last fifteen years?
