Dresses are what make the imagination work and I think that every man thing about what's behind, so we're watching the same thing Kekso! ;-)

This Festival is on the eve of the end and many top models and actress already packed their dress and make up to leave, it mean less photos of them and also because usually I'm going to see more movies during the last days of the festival.

I'm back with my project ! :-D
After finishing the green uniform I painted collar and cuff with red (Vallejo 70909 Vermillion), the buttons are Vallejo Laiton 70801. The coat rolled across the chest is made of two colors :
-- Half of them are painted Vallejo 70836 London grey, and drybrushed with Vallejo 70990 Pale Grey.
-- The other half painted Vallejo 70940 Saddle brown and drybrushed with Vallejo 70874 Tan Earth.

There's also some progress with officers an musicians, it always take a longer work for them because of more details :

The animal skin between the drum and the drummer is Vallejo 70875 Beige Brown with some stains Vallejo 70859 black red.
Soulder pads of musicians are green uniform with white stripe for Grenadiers of the line, and for Grenadiers of the guard regiment it is red with gold stripes (Vallejo laiton 70801). The chevrons of the drummers and Fifre are of the same color.

Officers received red shoulder pads with a golden edge (always Vallejo laiton ), the metal plate on the chest is Vallejo 70997 silver, the harness is white, the scarf around the belt is white with a silver wash (Vallejo 70997) and some bronze stripes (Vallejo 70998) with a thin brush.

Hmmm. Pictures of beautiful women in fashionable dresses. This must be an ADM post. :-)

Nice post, it's good to see the old vehicles and reinactors and the ladies look lovely in the 1940's fashions. Any volunteers to liberate the girl on the Sherman in video 1?

It took some time but I'm back with more work on my figures ! 8)

I've underlined details with a pencil and covered by vallejo mat varnish

drums received a bronze tone with a ink pen (Mitsubishi UM153), then white stripes with green serration (Vallejo 70970 deep green), the cords are Vallejo 70876 brown sand. The drum sticks are Vallejo 70984 flat brown and Vallejo 70801 laiton.
The drum membrane is an addition of a white base, then apply a very diluted wash (95% of water with 5% of paint) Vallejo 70876 brown sand and two more wash made with black.

The fife case is white with some parts made of Vallejo 70874 tan earth and a round insignia painted in laiton. Then underline the details in black (paint or pencil, it work as well). the Fife by itself is painted Mithril silver 61-65 (Citadel colors).

sheath of the sword and bayonet is Vallejo 70876 brown sand (black for officers), the tip of the sword sheath (but not for the bayonet) is Vallejo 70801 laiton, as well as the handle of the sword. There's also a white and red ribbon (Vallejo 70909 vermillion) attached to the handle. Once more everything is underlined with black by a very thin brush, because pencil doesn't work very well on metal colors.

The backpack and the ammunition pouch is black with a small laiton insignia, the gourd water bottle is Mithril silver 61-55 (Citadel colors) with white straps around.

Time to finish these figures with flags and everything else and I will be back.
