Hi Konrad, Wonderful effort,and painting.
You are indeed a Top Man.
You set a Goal and go for it which earns my respect.
The story behind the meaning of Top Man,goes way back to Pre-Napoleonic times
aboard H M S Ships of the Line. It was the highly prized men who could reach the very dizzy heights of the main mast. These guys were something special upon the rigging labouring hard with wet rope, and sail against the hard biting wind.It was they who were constantly stationed on lookout way at the top.
I look forward to seeing the odds and ends presented here later, and I guess you might well need your eyes resting after such an ordeal of laboured love painting hundreds of figures. Respect.
As I mention before, I too have lived through such seemingly endless nights of painting.
