1/72 fantasy blog

I recently started collecting 1/72 fantasy miniatures and I will post some pictures of finished and wip miniatures here.

I first started on some dwarfs from Light Alliance. Here are some pictures of 4 Dwarven Sledgers:




I put them on a 2 euro cent with some modeling clay as ground to add weight. I will use 5 euro cents for other fantasy units such as humans, undead, orcs, etc. to make them look 'bigger' in comparison to the dwarfs, as the dwarfs are pretty large miniatures for them imo.

I'm making some Helmorites as well (alliance of humans and centaurs).

Here is a Helmorite Spearman. It's a Greek Hoplite from Caesar Miniatures where I made a different shield for and added a cloak:





And I made a test figure for a centaur. I used a medieval longbowman, a horse and some milliput. It was only to test the possibility to make 1/72 centaurs. I'm going to use different miniatures instead of the medieval longbowman for the other centaurs (probably myceneans).
